Glen Waverley Location

Designed for a young multigenerational family, the Glen Waverley house embraces its sloping block, maximizing breathtaking views of the eastern suburbs and Dandenong Ranges.

The contemporary design is defined by intersecting forms, expansive windows, and a seamless material palette flowing from exterior to interior. The split-level layout optimizes the natural slope, creating distinct functional zones. At the entry, dark cladded walls set a dramatic tone, leading to a concealed guest ensuite.

Descending past the stair lobby, the space unfolds into a bright, open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. A grand double-height void enhances volume, complemented by a Venetian plaster feature wall. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interiors with light, framing views of the backyard and alfresco.

A sculptural spiral staircase connects the alfresco to a first-floor balcony, offering breathtaking views of the ranges.
